Kids Bedroom and Closet Space Completed 2/19/16

The space used to be a bedroom for client's two younger boys, however since moving the whole family downstairs to one bedroom the room has become defined by all three boys (6,9 and 11) clothes both that fit and don't.

Before I started the project it would take the boys 20+ minutes to find clothes for school the night before. As the project hit various stages it became easier and easier for them. By Thursday night (when all that was left was clothes that needed to be put in boxes to grow into) the boys had it down to less than five minutes. :)

Great job! Thanks for sharing! I know those boys would get frustrated quick trying to find clothes that fit in the mornings - anyone would! I see you used different color labels for the hangers - I assume that's to keep the boys' clothes separated? That's a good idea, especially if the client isn't open to purchasing new hangers.

Yeah we decided using colored tape would be the easiest way for the boys, their mom and I (I worked as their nanny) to find the correct clothes even if they are put in the wrong spot. We also have found it easier to transition the oldest into using regular sized hangers so he can find his clothes faster in the morning since he usually does it in the morning because he has more time.
