Thought I would share my first experience of firing a Client. I was interviewed by this person's "Manager" and we came to an agreement that I would find the Client house staff and manage the property on a once a week schedule. Everything was great, I found great staff and things were working. Then the Client blew into town! The expectation from the actual Client was different from the detailed Contract I had signed. After two weeks of explaining that it looks like the Client needed a daily butler, I came to the conclusion that our expectations were not the same and would not change.
It was very uncomfortable to terminate the contract, but it would have been miserable for me and the Client had it gone on any longer....I ripped off that bandaid!
