Texas: LLC or sole proprietorship??

I have my business name, domain name is available, had my logo drawn up and now trying to decide what is the better way to go in Texas...LLC or SP? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

  • FYI filing fee for LLC in TX is $300
  • It is totally your choice. I live in CA where the fee for LLC is over $800, so I am waiting until I am well established. I did SP for now (actually my husband and I are in business together so we did a husband/wife SP). LLC does protect you more.
